DIRECTIONS

  • Preparation of the crust:
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, ginger snap crumbs, sugar, and butter

Continue to squeeze out extra water from the pumpkin puree for approximately 60 minutes before preparing the cheesecake batter and baking it. While the pumpkin puree is being drained, bring the rest of the ingredients for the filling to room temperature to combine them. Cream cheese should be creamy when mixed with a mixer
  • add eggs one at a time, and then combine all of the filling ingredients in a mixer until well combined. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth. Allowing all of the ingredients to come to room temperature before combining the filling will yield the best results. Remove the crust from the refrigerator and fill it with the filling.
  • Bake the cheesecake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, then decrease the heat to 325 degrees for an additional 30 minutes to set the cheesecake. When you take the cheesecake out of the oven, it should be somewhat jiggly in the middle. As the cheesecake cools, it will become firm and set up nicely.
  • When you take the cheesecake from the oven, leave it aside while you make the cream cheese layer with the seasonings. Combine the sour cream, sugar, and spices in a small mixing basin. Make a smooth paste. Spread the seasoned sour cream mixture on top of the cooked cheesecake in a smooth layer. Bake at 325 degrees for about 8 minutes, or until the sour cream layer has set. Remove the cheesecake from the oven.
  • Whipped Cream (or whipped topping):
  • Allow for cooling of the cheesecake. When the cheesecake has been allowed to cool fully, it is time to add the whipped cream. Heavy whipping cream, vanilla, and sugar are combined in a medium-sized mixing basin and well blended using a blender or stand mixer. To make stiff peaks out of the cream, whip it until it is firm. Remove the ring from the spring-form pan and either pipe or spread the whipped cream on top of the pumpkin cheesecake using a knife to finish.
  • As soon as you’re ready to serve the Olive Garden Pumpkin Cheesecake, split each slice in half and spread caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake before sprinkling with ginger snap crumbs.

How to Make Olive Garden Pumpkin Cheesecake

  1. Prepare the gingersnap crust and press it into the bottom of a springform baking pan.
  2. Combine the filling ingredients and pour it into the crust.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Reducing the temperature to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and baking for an additional 30 minutes
  4. Allow the cheesecake to cool to room temperature before serving.
  5. Prepare the sour cream layer and apply it on top of the whipped cream layer
  6. Make a little whipping motion with the heavy cream and distribute it on top.
  7. Sprinkle crumbled ginger snap biscuits on top of each plate before drizzling caramel sauce over the top.

Notes About Cheesecake Making

A water bath is not something I personally utilize.Because I bake my cheesecakes on a clay baking stone in my oven, they turn out beautifully.When preparing your cheesecake, you may want to consider using a water bath.Also, I strongly advise you to allow your components to come to room temperature before mixing them together to make the filling.When it comes to obtaining a beautiful, smooth filling, this definitely makes a difference.
