Buying Cookies From Walmart Bakery (7 Things To Know)
- With their expansion from general merchandise to full-service food shops over the last two decades, Walmart has truly established themselves as a global powerhouse.
- On top of everything else that they offer, Walmart has a large in-store bakery that produces a wide variety of baked goods, including breads, cakes, and, yes, dozens of different kinds of cookies.
- Because the bakery does not include instructions, you may be wondering what they have in stock, if they are made in-store, and how much you should anticipate to pay.
- Here is a comprehensive guide about Walmart baked cookies that will answer all of your questions.
Buying Walmart Bakery Cookies In 2022
Are Walmart Bakery Cookies Made In-Store?
- According to one Walmart employee, the bakery cookies sold in the shop are prepared in-house.
- They did, however, divulge that the dough is delivered frozen and that the cookies are subsequently cooked from the frozen dough.
- Walmart claims that more than half of their bakery items are manufactured in-store, and it appears that their cookies are included in this category of products.
- They just aren’t created from scratch in the store; but, if they were, I’m sure the costs would be far higher!
How Much Do Walmart Bakery Cookies Cost?
- Walmart has figured out how to operate in such a manner that their pricing on items, especially their extensive bakery variety, remain as low as possible.
- Cookies may be purchased at your local Walmart Supercenter for as little as $1.00 for a bag of three or as much as $10 for a tray of 32 for as little as $10.
- Smaller products such as a 12-count box of cookies typically cost approximately $2, while bigger plastic containers containing speciality items such as frosted sugar cookies and sandwich cookies can cost up to $4.98.
- One of the things I appreciate about these low costs is that, even for a tray of cookies, you can acquire enough treats to treat a whole workplace or school room without going broke.
- To make things even better, most Walmart shops (if not all) have bakery racks with discounted goods located somewhere in the store.
- All types of baked products – including cookies – that are only a day or a few days old may be found at a substantial discount, ranging anywhere from 20 to 70 percent off the regular price on these sites.
Can You Customize Walmart Cookie Orders?
- I have been unable to locate any material that verifies Walmart will personalize their premade cookies in the bakery section of the store.
- Walmart, on the other hand, is well-known for its dedication to providing excellent customer service and being flexible.
- You may always inquire as to whether they would decorate cookies that you have purchased from the shop (for an additional fee).
- The worst that may happen is that they say no!
How Long Do Walmart Bakery Cookies Last?
- According to the website StillTasty.com, cookies are only good for around one month after they have been opened.
- Walmart cookies, in my view, are at their best for approximately a week after purchase, although they are still edible after around two weeks after purchase.
- After two weeks, I notice a significant decline in the quality of the cookies — they become much more stale-tasting (and stale-feeling), as well as much crumblier.
- A fantastic thing about Walmart cookies, on the other hand, is that they freeze beautifully!
- If you’re freezing the entire batch, you can just store them in their original storage container in the freezer until needed.
- If you wish to split them, say half for now and half for later, you may place them in a freezer baggie and squeeze out all the air before closing it.
They’ll keep for months in the freezer like this.Only need to let them thaw at room temperature before eating, and they will taste exactly as if you just took them home from the grocery store.
Are Walmart Bakery Cookies Good & Are They Tasty?
- As a frequent consumer of Walmart cookies, I can confirm that the vast majority of them are excellent. The following are some of my favorites: Freshness Guaranteed Sandwich cookies (any of them! ), Marketside Decadent Chocolate Chunk cookies, Freshness Guaranteed Peanut Butter Cookies, and Marketside Decadent Chocolate Chunk cookies.
Additionally, though they are not my favorite sort of cookie, the Freshness Guaranteed Frosted Sugar cookies, which are designed to look like the Lofthouse-style cookies, have received a lot of positive feedback.
Can You Buy Walmart Bakery Cookies With EBT?
EBT or SNAP benefits (previously known as food stamps) are available for any food item intended for human consumption. As long as cookies are included in that category, you can use your EBT or SNAP benefits to purchase Walmart bakery cookies. Both the smaller individual-serve cookies and the bigger assortment trays are included in this category.
Can You Order Cookie Cakes From Walmart?
- Walmart’s cookie cakes are, in my opinion, amazing; they are a great alternative to traditional birthday cakes for folks who aren’t big fans of traditional cakes in general.
- Walmart cookie cakes may be ordered and customized in-store or online through their website, which can be found here.
- You’ll see that they offer three cookie cake selections, including peanut butter candy, chocolate chunk, and chocolate candy, which you may choose from (like M&Ms).
- There’s also a brownie cake on the menu.
- Buttercream or whipped icing can be used to decorate cookie cakes that measure 10.5 inches by 10.5 inches (and a half inch thick).
- Buttercreme is available in 15 different hues, whereas whipped cream is available in 11.
In addition to the border and decorations, which you may customize to your desire, the icing is also used for the filling. And, of course, no cookie cake would be complete without a message — you have 50 characters to express yourself. Each and every option for personalization is included in the price of the cake, so you should anticipate to spend $9.98 for your masterpiece, plus any necessary taxes.
Does Walmart Bakery Have Cookie Trays?
- Even while Walmart does not provide cookie tray ordering, they do sell cookie trays as part of their regular inventory..
- The availability and selection will vary from store to store, however I have seen the Decadent Cookie Platter from their Marketplace label, which is available in limited quantities.
- For $9.98, you can get a 32-count (eight of each flavor) of chocolate chunk, oatmeal raisin, turtle brownie, and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, among other flavors.
- Another example is the Gourmet Cookie Platter from the label The Bakery, which can be found at Walmart for a reasonable price.
- Cookie flavors include chocolate chunk, oatmeal cranberry, toffee almond crunch, and red velvet in this 32-count cookie ray.
- It has a suggested retail price of $9.98 once again.
For those who are certain that they would require many cookies but do not wish to spend a lot of money on a custom order from a speciality bakery, Walmart’s cookie trays would be a perfect choice. In addition, I believe you could phone the store early in the morning or the day before and ask them to hold a few trays for you if you called early in the morning.
Does Walmart Bakery Have Graduation Cookies?
- Walmart does not accept personalized cookie orders, however they do have a limited selection of cookies that are available periodically.
- As a result, Christmas cookies will be available over the holidays, while graduation-themed sweets will be available in April, May, and June.
- As an added bonus, the store offers graduation-themed toppers, so if you wanted to get a couple trays of cupcakes, some frosting, and then decorate them yourself, you could do so and just make one trip!
- More information about shopping at Walmart may be found in our linked articles on Walmart bakery cakes, Walmart cupcakes, and Wal-Mart donuts, which are all available on our website.
Conclusion
When it comes to sweet discounts, Walmart has a lot to offer, but none are sweeter than their reasonably priced cookies from the in-store bakery. Multiple packets or a big mixed tray may be purchased for less than $10, and they’re actually rather good and certain to delight.

- it’s fantastic! Delicious My birthday cake this year will be Mrs. Fields’ heart-shaped cookie cake, which I’ve been making for the past three years. This is something unusual for my birthday, which I like.
- IT WAS OUTSTANDINGLY DELICIOUS For my birthday, I had a Mrs. Fields cake. It was SO DELICIOUS, and it was also quite attractive. I will most certainly order one the following year!
- He was enthralled by it. I surprised my husband by sending him this cookie on Sweetest Day, and he was overjoyed. He was enthralled by it. Thank you so much, Mrs. Fields
- Excellent Suggestions Your wonderful suggestions, as well as your web site, have assisted me in sending a heartfelt present to the individuals I care about. Thank you so much

- It turned out just like I expected it would. As a surprise during finals, I delivered a cookie cake to my daughter who was studying abroad. It was delivered fast and in wonderful shape, complete with the amusing statement that I had written on it. I received a confirmation e-mail as well as a shipping confirmation e-mail, which included a tracking number. Overall, it was a straightforward process, and the girls were overjoyed. I do believe that is a little expensive, however.
- Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14th. I adore you to the moon and back
- I will never stop loving you. Almost perfect, in fact. This cookie is practically perfect in every way! The ability to order any of these cookie cakes with less icing would be wonderful, since it would allow us to enjoy more of the cookie itself. Do you know if it is feasible to manufacture ″MY PERFECT COOKIE CAKIES?″ cookie cake with chocolate chips I really like your concept for the twelve-inch cookie cake, and I’d want to try my hand at making one at home. Cookie Cakes, of course! I recently had one for my birthday, and it was very delicious! This is something I would suggest to everyone! excellent, I think your cookies are tasty and visually appealing.
- Thank you for your support. Mrs. Field’s was the second time I utilized their services
- this time, I sent a heart-shaped cookie to my partner as a ″congrats/great work″ present. I placed an order for the chocolate chip heart-shaped cookie online, but was unable to complete the transaction so I contacted the 1-800 number. The gal was quite helpful
- nevertheless, she made a mistake with my purchase. The cookie said ″excellent work Chris!″ as I had requested, but the letter I had written said, ″Motivation is what gets you started. ″ ″Habit is on the move.″ I’m so proud of you! Love is my given name. The word ″habit″ was misspelled, and the quotation I requested was incorrect. seriously? So inconvenient, I wish they had paid more care and employed spell check, especially considering the price, which is not cheap after tax and shipping are taken into consideration. unsatisfied.
- disappointed. I MESSED UP THE ORDER IN EVERY SINGLE WAY. I bought a HEART cookie cake with a customised inscription for my lover, which he really loved. When it got at his house, it was laying on its side at the front entrance. He immediately called 911. What I really want is that there was a way to include a photo of what this blob looked like. Everything was smooshed together, including the cookie cake and the lettering on the cake. There was also a general statement on the card, rather than the personalized message I had asked, and it appeared as though the shape had previously been a circular, which was not what I had intended. The fact that it was delivered to him in such an inappropriate manner was disappointing since I had intended for it to be a wonderful gift. I had great expectations for Mrs. Fields’ products, and I was certain that everything would run well from start to finish. Unfortunately, I was left feeling quite disappointed. I sincerely hope that the organization makes significant improvements in terms of meeting consumer requirements and ensuring that the items are delivered correctly. Cookie was sent to the wrong address. When these individuals gave my girlfriend the incorrectly decorated cookie, she was meant to receive a bespoke message cookie with mine and her names on it, but instead she received a cookie that said ″Happy Valentine’s Day!″ Let’s just say you’re lucky she still enjoyed it, since otherwise I would have written a much worse review!

Chocolate Chip Cookies + Cake in One Easy Dessert!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Cakes, in my opinion, represent a fundamental element of my upbringing. My family has always had them, and we have always enjoyed them — and still do!The only thing I knew for certain was that my father’s birthday would always be celebrated with cookie cake.
It’s still his favorite cake, even after all these years. He’s not a huge fan of cake, but he does enjoy cookies. And what about the frosting?Put it out of your mind.
That’s not his thing. In order to avoid this, my younger brother and I would always stand by and divide his icing amongst our respective cookies pieces. The more icing, the better in our opinion! With age, I understood that there were a significant number of individuals who did not grow up eating cookie cakes, which surprised me.I was able to introduce a large number of wonderful folks to a whole other world.
Prepare to be wowed by the cookie cakes!Chocolate Chip Cookie Cakes have even made an appearance at a few of our football tailgate parties. To top it all off, the twins celebrated their first birthday by smashing cookies into their smash cakes! So, yes, we are definitely a cookie cake family.
When it comes to cookie cakes, they are quite versatile and can be used for almost any occasion. You can create them quickly and easily, and you can easily transport them wherever you go.And who doesn’t like a delicious cookie?!
How to Make a Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake
It’s really just a matter of making cookie dough and baking it in a cake pan to produce this cookie cake!Simple! So, to begin, whip the butter and sugars together for about three to four minutes, or until the mixture is light and fluffy in texture.
This cookie cake was made using a combination of white and brown sugar for a more complex flavor. You’ll add one egg and a few drops of vanilla essence to this mixture.Final step is to incorporate your dry ingredients. We’re going to use a combination of flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt in this recipe.
The cornstarch helps to tenderize the cookie a little, and baking soda is my go-to leavener for cookies almost all of the time.It just results in a chewier texture, which I enjoy.Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without the chocolate chips, so don’t forget to incorporate some of those as well.Bake the cookie cake for approximately 20 minutes at 350°F.You can tell it’s done when the edges are faintly golden and the center is set.
Despite the fact that it may not appear completely cooked, you do not want to overcook it.As it cools, the cooking will continue and the texture will get firmer. The cookie should be done as long as the top of the cookie has lost its glossy appearance.
How to get the cookie cake out of the pan
When the cookie cake is finished baking, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool completely in the pan. The cookie will fall apart if it is removed from the pan before it has time to cool completely. It will be lovely and solid after it has cooled, so you can easily take it out of the pan and immediately put it back onto a serving dish or cardboard circle once it has cooled.
How to decorate a cookie cake
Unless you want to go all out and make a sophisticated cookie cake, there isn’t much you can do to make a cookie cake. You may use the chocolate buttercream that I used, or you can use my Vanilla Buttercream instead of chocolate.Of course, you may customize your cake with your favorite sprinkles.
You could even go a little beyond and build a 9-inch-square cookie cake and decorate it with frosting. When I made my Flag Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake and Christmas Tree Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake, I was inspired to do something similar, and it was a lot of fun.
BEST Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake
It doesn’t matter how you decorate your cookie or what occasion you’re celebrating, this cookie cake is guaranteed to be a success and will taste even better than any store-bought counterpart. It’s thick, soft, and chewy, and it’s loaded with delectable chocolate chips. After years of enjoying Chocolate Chip Cookie Cakes, I can confidently say that this one is the greatest!

In reality, the truth is that the more confident you are in your price, the more likely it is that your consumers will be to purchase your baked goods. So, before we go, I’d want to put your mind at ease by answering the issue that most likely brought you to this blog in the first place: how much should you charge for cookies? If you decide to sell your cookies in bulk, you should anticipate charging between $2 and $6.50 each cookie, or between $8 and $15 per dozen if you prefer to sell your cookies in small quantities.Consider the cost of materials and baking equipment, as well as the amount of time you will spend on the cookie and its intricacy when determining your pricing. For example, you may price $3 for a plain snickerdoodle with no decorations, but $6 for a sugar cookie with extensive decorations.
To put it another way, the more effort, expense, and talent that goes into making a cookie, the more you should charge for it.Setting the price of your cookies, on the other hand, is not something you should guess at.It’s vital to determine your price based on how much profit you want to earn on each cookie, just like it is in any other business. What is the best way to go about it?
That is exactly why I chose to create this blog article in the first place. The remainder of this tutorial will assist you in determining a pricing for your cookies that will not only ensure that you make a profit, but will also give you the confidence to look a consumer in the eyes and tell them just how much your cookies cost. Now that you’re ready to get your business off to a good start with the correct cuisine, let’s get to baking.
How To Price Your Cookies (5 Simple Steps)
- If you want to appropriately price your cookies, there are a number of factors that you should take into consideration. You don’t want to take chances when it comes to anything from the cost of goods and equipment to the amount of time you spend and the quantity of cookies that go unsold. To help you with this, I’m going to lead you through 5 easy steps in the next part that will guide you through pricing your cookies correctly. Step 1: Figure Out Your Cost Per Cookie
When it comes to pricing cookies, just like any other business, you need to know how much it costs to create each cookie. It may appear simple at first look; simply add up the costs of your ingredients and divide that amount by the number of cookies you intend to create. However, there are several steps to this procedure.
Moreover, while this is preferable than simply guessing, the situation is actually a little more complicated than that. You should factor in a couple of additional crucial charges in addition to the products you’ll be using. In fact, for this initial stage, I propose that you sit down with a pen and paper and total up the following expenses:
1. Equipment
When calculating your expenditures, the first thing you should consider is the equipment you will be using. From mixers to spatulas to baking sheets, you must total up the cost of each piece of equipment and then estimate how many cookies you believe you will be able to bake with each item over the course of its useful life span. That is to say, if you spent $500 for a mixer and believe it will last you three years before you need to update, you must split the $500 into smaller amounts until you get at a cost per cookie.
Here’s how I’d suggest going about it:
- Calculate how many cookies you will bake in a given week. Take, for example, the scenario where you bake 35 cookies every day, five days per week. This equates to 175 cookies every week on average.
- Then divide your weekly average by 52 to get your monthly average (the number of weeks in a year). This results in 9,100 cookies every year, based on our example
- Add up the amount of cookies you make each year and divide it by the number of years your mixer will last you. Our scenario assumes that your mixer will last you three years, which translates into a total of 27,300 cookies baked over that time. It’s a lot of cookies, to be honest.
- You only have to divide $500 by 27,300, which yields in an average cookie price of around 2 cents per cookie.
While $0.02 may not seem like a large sum, little sums like this may quickly build up over time. Even more so, the more expensive your equipment is, the more crucial it is to keep track of your spending.
2. Ingredients
The next thing you’ll need to figure out is how much each cookie will cost in terms of ingredients. And this will be somewhat different for each individual cookie. This is a really simple procedure to do.
Simple math is required: tally up the costs of your ingredients for each type of cookie and divide that amount by the number of cookies you want to bake in a day. Then take the cost of each cookie’s ingredient and multiply it by the cost of your equipment per cookie.
3. Packaging
Another expenditure to consider, especially if you want to sell your products by the dozen, is the cost of packing your products.Regardless of whether you choose to package your cookies in boxes, wrap them in tissue paper, or anything else, you must factor packaging fees into your cookie business expenditures. This should be quite straightforward in terms of components.
The only thing you have to do is tally up the cost of your packaging and divide it by the number of cookies you will be able to package in that quantity. Then just double that figure by the cost per cookie you are charging.
4. Other Business Costs
If you decide to establish a cookie business, you will incur additional costs, just like you would with any other business venture. In some cases, you may be required to pay rent for a commercial cooking location, for example. You’ll almost certainly need to spend money on a website and other sorts of promotion at some time.
It’s possible that you’ll have to pay for insurance or bookkeeping. As your company expands, you may find yourself in the position of having to pay people. To calculate your monthly company expenditures, I propose summing up all of your monthly business expenses and dividing the amount by the number of cookies you sell each month.Say it with me: add the resultant number to your cost per cookie to get the total cost.
5. Taxes
The Tax Collector is the next person on the to-do list.As a business owner, you will be required to put aside funds for tax preparation. And this is a number that you should factor into your cost per cookie calculation as well.
If you follow the normal rule of thumb, you could expect to pay around 25 percent to 30 percent of your gross sales after costs. As a result, you should set your pricing so that you still make a respectable profit after deducting taxes from it.
6. Waste
One of the costs that young business owners sometimes overlook is waste (for example, the quantity of cookies you cooked but didn’t sell because they were too little). If you want to find out how much waste you have, you must first sum up the average number of cookies that are left unsold each day, and then multiply that amount by the entire cost of a cookie. After that, you must divide the total number of cookies sold each day by the average number of cookies sold each day.
Then double the result of that equation by the cost of a single cookie.Okay, once you’ve calculated all of your expenditures and calculated an estimate of your cost per cookie, the following step is to determine who your target market will be.
Step 2: Figure Out Your Target Customer
I’m guessing that when you made the decision to establish a business, you had a certain target consumer in mind as well. What you might not have noticed is that the type of consumer you are trying to attract has a significant impact on the price you charge for cookies.Suppose you want to create cookies for weddings; your price will most likely be different than your pricing if you want to sell cookies individually to walk-in bakery customers, for example.
The difficult aspect about this is that you just have to utilize your best judgment in this situation. For example, if you want to offer cookies for high-end events such as weddings or business parties, you may wish to charge a premium for your products. You may also set your prices a little more than the ordinary cookie if you want to offer cookies with a more creative touch that necessitates a significant amount of effort in the decorating process. On the other hand, if you want to sell cookies for less opulent occasions or if you want to focus on volume, you could choose to charge a bit less.
It is possible that your target consumer will evolve over time, or that you will cater to a variety of markets.Really, all you have to do is find out what you want and then integrate it into your price structure.
Step 3: Determine How Much You Want To Profit
After you’ve determined your expenses and your target market, the next step is to determine how much profit you’d want to make on each individual order you place.Regardless matter whether you want to sell individual cookies or cookies by the dozen, you must first determine how much profit you would like to make on each order, and then multiply that figure by the cost of a single cookie.Just make sure to factor in your taxes while putting out your budget.
Remember that, as a general rule of thumb, you should aim to set aside around 30% of your gross earnings after costs to cover your tax obligations.Consider the following scenario: you’d want to earn $2 per cookie after taxes, but your per cookie cost was $1.75; you’d like to make $2 per cookie after taxes. In order to get at that figure, here is your formula: In this case, (Desired Profit % Revenue after Taxes) + Per Cookie Cost = Cookie Price.Using our example, this would be: ($2 0.7) + $1.75 = $4.61 in our case.
That’s all there is to it.At this point, you should have a good idea of how much you should charge for your cookie sales!.But we’re not quite finished yet. It’s time to get to the dangerous part: putting your pricing to the test.
Step 4: Test Your Pricing
It is necessary to test your cookie pricing strategy after you have determined how much you will charge for them in the first place.According to an old adage, ″the market determines the price.″ It follows that just charging a given price does not guarantee that your consumers would be prepared to pay that amount in return. On the other hand, if you set your price too low, you could find that you need to raise your prices a little bit later on.
The most important thing to remember is to give yourself enough time to thoroughly test everything out.In other words, don’t make the mistake of adjusting your prices on a daily basis. In fact, I recommend that you test your rates for around a month before making any major changes to your pricing structure.
Step 5: Adjust
In the event that you are still not satisfied with your pricing strategy after selecting your prices, it is acceptable to make minor modifications.Price changes are a necessary part of beginning your own business, whether you don’t feel like you’re earning enough profit for your efforts or you’re just not attracting as many clients as you’d like.Every now and again, you simply have to go ahead and do it.
Ensure, however, that you are raising or lowering your costs for the correct reasons. As a result, if you aren’t attracting the number of clients that you would want, don’t automatically assume that it is due to your pricing.Instead, take a look at your marketing activities and see if you can improve them in order to bring in more consumers to your establishment.Instead of raising your pricing in response to high demand, try expanding the amount of cookies you are able to create rather than raising your prices in response to high demand.
How Much Should I Charge For Sugar Cookies?
For individual sugar cookies, a decent rule of thumb is to price between $2 and $6 each cookie; if you want to sell them by the dozen, you should charge between $10 and $25 per dozen. When determining your pricing, keep in mind that you must account for your expenditures, your time, as well as the size and intricacy of each cookie’s decoration.
How Much Should I Charge For Chocolate Chip Cookies?
Overall, you should price between $2.50 and $5 for individual chocolate chip cookie, or between $10 and $20 per dozen if you want to sell your cookies in bulk. At a bare minimum, your price should take into consideration the costs of supplies, equipment, your time, and the size of each individual cookie.
How Much Should I Charge For A Dozen Cookies?
In order to make a profit selling cookies by the dozen, you can expect to charge between $10 and $20 per dozen for plain cookies and between $12 and $25 per dozen for cookies adorned with icing or other decorations. When determining the pricing of your cookies, take into consideration the quantity of your cookies, your expenditures, the amount of time it will take, and your profit.
Bottom Line
It might be challenging to figure out your price as a new business owner because you don’t have much experience. However, if you take the time to go through the five stages outlined in this piece, I am certain that you will be able to determine just how much to charge your customers for your cookies. It’s time to go out and bake something.
Your potential consumers are eagerly awaiting your arrival.(I can only hope that I am one of them!)

A cookie cake is exactly what it sounds like: a dessert made with cookies!Large cookie in the shape of a cake, usually adorned with icing or frosting. It’s my preferred dessert over conventional cake every time!
Adding some rainbow sprinkles to my chocolate chip cookie cake makes it extra festive. My chocolate chip cookie cake is wonderfully chewy and soft, and I love to make it even more so.However, doing so is entirely optional. This cake is also a favorite of mine to adorn with my simple chocolate buttercream icing.
The process becomes quite simple as a result, and it is something that children might absolutely assist with.
What Makes this the Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake
In my cookie cake, I like to use only brown sugar, preferably dark brown sugar, because it adds a nice depth of flavor.Because brown sugar includes molasses, it helps to keep the cookie cake moist and chewy during the baking process. If you only have light brown sugar on hand, you may use that instead, although dark brown sugar is recommended.
I also take my cookie cake out of the oven when the borders are browned but the middle is still little underdone, which is my preferred method.Once the cake has completely cooled, this will help to keep it very soft, which is exactly what everyone is looking for in a cookie cake!If you want to make the cookie cake, I recommend that you use bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate instead of milk chocolate. This will assist in balancing out the sweetness.
How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake
We will be employing the creaming procedure for cookies to produce our chocolate chip cookie cake, which will be delicious. In order to achieve this, it is critical that your butter and eggs be at room temperature before you begin baking. Here’s how to fast bring your ingredients up to room temperature if the situation calls for it.
Step 1: Cream Your Butter and Sugar
Put the butter and brown sugar in a stand mixer or a large mixing basin and beat on medium to high speed until light and creamy. You want to do this for approximately 3-4 full minutes, scraping the bottom of the dish once or twice along the way. Your combination should be light and fluffy in appearance, similar to the image displayed.
Step 2: Add the Egg and Vanilla
After that, add your egg and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar combination that has been creamed. Combine just until everything is well-combined.
Step 3: Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together all of the dry ingredients until they are uniformly dispersed throughout the batter. This will assist to ensure that your cookie cake rises evenly throughout.
Step 4: Add Dry Ingredients
In a small bowl, blend your dry ingredients with the cookie dough until everything is just incorporated. Make sure not to overmix, otherwise your cookie cake will turn out rough and dense.
Step 5: Add Mix-Ins
You may now add your chocolate chips and sprinkles, if you’re using them, and combine everything. The sprinkles are entirely optional, but I enjoy how festive they make the cookie cake seem! Stir until the ingredients are almost equally distributed. Again, you don’t want to over-mix the ingredients.
Step 6: Bake
Spread the cookie dough out evenly in the pan that you have prepared.I prefer to use a 9-inch spring form pan for this since it makes removal easier, but you can certainly use a conventional cake pan instead. In order to make it even more lovely, I prefer to put a few more chocolate chips and sprinkles on top before serving.
If you want to go all out, sprinkle a little flaky sea salt on top before serving. After taking the cake from the pan and applying icing, allow it to cool fully before removing it from the pan again. This cake is really simple to make, and it turns out to be incredibly chewy and squishy!
Tips & Tricks for Success
- Making use of dark brown sugar and removing the cookie cake from the oven when the center is still little under cooked will ensure that your cookie cake remains exceptionally chewy and soft.
