Make careful to distribute it all the way to the edge of the pan. Make sure to follow the guidelines on the recipe while baking your cake.

    Step 9: Check Cake for Doneness

    1. No one likes to eat a dry cake, which is what happens when it is overbaked.
    2. Start testing the cake for doneness after the recipe’s specified minimum baking time has passed, and resist opening the oven door until it is time to avoid letting the heat escape until it is time.
    3. Insert a wooden toothpick towards the middle of a creamed cake to keep it from falling apart.

    4. Using tongs, carefully lift the pan off the cake, being careful not to break the cake’s edges.
    5. If you used waxed or parchment paper to wrap your cake, gently take the paper away from it.
    6. Allow for thorough cooling of the cake (about 1 hour).

    How to Make your Own Cake/ Cupcake Box- Tutorial

    • Every bakery where I’ve worked has always used the same iconic pink box to wrap their cakes, and I’m not sure why. Purchasing in bulk can be extremely pricey for a home baker on a tight budget. Not to mention that most boxes are only available in a single size, leaving little room for error. ″Surely there must be another choice,″ I reasoned. After a lot of trial and error, I was able to create a box that not only contains my cakes, but also showcases them just as well as a professional-looking box. And the greatest thing is that it is inexpensive (about $1.00) and can be customized for each order! I picked blue poster boards since the color is a fantastic match for my logo stickers! This is my first lesson, so please bear with me if I don’t do a really good job. Supplies Two poster boards
    • clear gift wrap
    • a hot glue gun
    • an exacto knife
    • a ruler
    • a piece of cardboard or a fancy craft mat (to protect your table from cuts! )
    • the cake board you will use for your cake/cupcakes (not seen)
    • a piece of cardboard or a decorative craft mat (to protect your table from cuts!
    1. 1st step: Take one poster board and place the cake board you will be using for your cake on top of it, then measure around it.
    2. Allow for a small amount of wiggle room, around 1/8-1/4 inch.
    3. This large ruler is one of my favorites since it is the right height for the majority of my tiny cakes.
    4. Its overall length is approximately 4 1/2 inches.
    5. Step 2: Lightly score the poster board with a sharp knife.
    6. DON’T sever the thread all the way through.
    1. Simply draw a straight line that will allow for a tidy fold later on.
    2. Carry out this procedure on all three sides.

    1. Place the cake board back on the poster board and mark the spot where the last side of the cake board will begin.
    2. This line should be scored lightly as well.
    3. I work on both sides of the ruler so that I may trim away any extra later on.

    Step 5: Trim away any superfluous material with your exacto knife.Sixth step: Make a flap by cutting ONE incision in each corner.Use your hot glue gun to liberally apply a generous amount of glue to the surface of the paper.Because the flaps tend to snag on one other when you close the lid, I prefer to use a lot of it.Step 8: Press the flap against the inside portion of the poster board for a few seconds until it adheres.Step 9: Repeat step 8 on each of the four sides.

    1. Step 10: Take your second poster board and follow the steps 1-6 once more.
    2. The only thing you need to change is the length of the sides, which should be about 1/4 of an inch shorter.
    3. This makes it possible for the top to shut smoothly over the bottom.
    4. You can notice in the photo that I have made a small adjustment to my ruler.
    5. Step 11: Once you’ve completed the first three sides and need to complete the last side, use the bottom box you’ve previously created as a guideline to complete the final side.
    6. Make careful to leave about a quarter-inch of space between each item.
    • In this case, too, only one slit should be cut in each of the four corners of the piece.
    • However, hold off on pulling out the glue gun just yet.
    • Step 13: Cut a square out of the center of the pie.
    • You may make it as large as you like, but I normally fold it so that it is approximately 2 inches from the border where it will be displayed.
    • Step 14: Cut a piece of gift wrap large enough to cover the hole in the gift box.
    • Around the whole perimeter, leave approximately an inch.
    1. The piece of gift wrap should be attached with a thin line of hot glue all the way around it in step 15.
    2. In step 16, use your hot glue gun to join all of the corners together like you did in step 7.

    It’s time to start cutting and bending! Make sure you appear highly professional on the plan so that you don’t confuse cutlines with bendlines! Using a cutter, cut along the lines. Cutlines should be pushed strongly, whereas bendlines should be pushed very softly. as a result of the fact that corrugated cardboard is difficult to bend precisely!

    Step 4: Cutlines Bow Tie

    1. We must now cut half-circles around the bow tie sticker to complete the design.
