What are our thoughts on a baby’s first smash cake, Judy and I are not sure.If you’ve attended one of our baby or toddler online feeding courses, you’re undoubtedly under the impression that we take a flexible approach to infant and toddler feeding.As my daughter’s second birthday approaches this week, I wanted to share some of our thoughts with you.

Mickey Mouse Cake and Smash Cake

  • My Mickey Mouse Cake may look familiar to you because I’ve made it before on this blog. Christo’s mother requested that I make the same cake for her son. in addition to a smash cake! I truly enjoy this whimsical and straightforward Mickey Mouse cake. So, here are a few specifics for your consideration. To begin, the bottom cake was made up of two layers of 8″ round cake. The white and yellow fondant were created from scratch with marshmallows. The smash cake was a single-layer butter cake with vanilla buttercream on top, and it was delicious. In order to make the head and the number ″1″ from this Fox Run Numbers cookie cutters set, I utilized a huge Mickey Mouse Cookie Cutter. I used a big round tip from the Ateco Large Tube set (which happens to be one of my fave things) to pipe on the red buttercream. That’s all there is to it!
