    Strawberry Vanilla Cheesecake

    • In order to make the crust 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 tablespoons sugar, 5 tablespoons melted butter
    • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    • In order to complete the filling 3. 3 8-ounce packages of softened cream cheese. 3. 3 big eggs. 4. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1. tablespoon flour. 1. tablespoon salt. 2. 1 teaspoon vanilla. 3. 1/4 cup heavy cream.
    • For the icing on the cake 3 cups strawberries, either fresh or frozen
    • 1-1/2 cups fresh or individually frozen berries, cleaned and hulled
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 1/4 cup sugar (omit if using sweetened, frozen berries)
    • 1-1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
    • 2-3 drops red food coloring
    • 1 cup fresh or individually frozen berries, cleaned and hulled (use whole or, if preferred, cut into smaller pieces)
    • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
    • 2-3 drops red food coloring

    Directions

    1. Crush the graham crackers until they are crumbly. In a nine- or ten-inch springform pan, combine the crumbs, cinnamon, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Using your fingers, create a crust across the bottom of the pan and up the edges of the pan. Preparation time: Place crust in refrigerator to harden up while you make the filling and topping
    2. preparation time: Make the topping. Blend the strawberries and lemon juice together in a blender until smooth. Purée should be around 1 1/2 cups in total. If you want to remove the seeds from the puree, pass it through a sieve. Place the puree in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Combine the sugar, food coloring, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until the sauce has thickened and become bubbling. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool
    3. 325 degrees Fahrenheit should be set for the oven. Mix the cream cheese using the paddle attachment of your stand-type mixer set on medium speed until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the bowl once or twice throughout the process. Slowly incorporate the sugar, flour, salt, vanilla, and heavy whipping cream, one at a time, making sure the batter is smooth before adding the next ingredient to the batter. Use a spatula to scrape down the edges of the bowl as required. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Don’t go overboard with the pounding. If there is too much air in the filling, the cake will sink and break. Pour one-half of the cream cheese filling into the crust. Spoon approximately 2/3 of the strawberry sauce onto the filling, then spoon the remaining cream cheese on top of the strawberry sauce to finish it off. Keep the leftover sauce refrigerated.
    4. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top of the cake is just beginning to turn golden and the middle is just jiggly in the center
    5. Allow the cake to cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes before removing it. To loosen the pan, run a knife around the edge of the pan. Remove the ring from the cheesecake and allow it to cool fully. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
    6. To assemble the cheesecake, mix the berries into the remaining sauce and spread it over the top.

    2. data-lazy-src=″ It cooks rather rapidly, allowing the fruit to release a large amount of juice while yet maintaining their structure.
    3. Since ancient times, fruit compote has been enjoyed by people of many cultures.
    4. Cooking it is straightforward and inexpensive, and it makes use of readily accessible materials.

It is a simple method to transform summer harvest into something delectable.

    Fruit compote ingredients

    • The list of components is rather straightforward.
    • All you really need is fruit and sugar to make this dessert.
    • Choose from berries (I used raspberries and blueberries), currants, or stone fruit to make your own combo.
    • Depending on your preference, you can prepare a single fruit or multiple fruit compote.
    • I would recommend choosing a naturally sweet fruit, such as blueberry or strawberry, for a single fruit compote rather than red currants, which are extremely sour and would require a significant amount of sugar to be cooked with in order to be edible.
    1. The amount of sugar you will require will ultimately be determined by the sort of fruit you use as well as your particular desire for sweetness.

    Recipe instructions

    • In the case of fresh fruit, the following guidelines should be followed: Clean and remove any pits (if any) from the fruit before placing it in a big skillet or pot.
    • Before cooking, remove the pits from big fruits such as peaches and slice the portions into smaller pieces.
    • Pour in the sugar and simmer, stirring often, for about 6 minutes over medium heat (add 2 more minutes if using frozen fruit).
    • The apple will begin to soften and release a large amount of juice.
    • Bring the water to a boil and simmer for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender.
    1. Gently stir the fruit to ensure that it retains its form.
    2. If necessary, you can add extra sugar to taste at any time throughout the cooking process.
    3. 2.
    4. Remove from the heat and serve immediately, or set aside for a few minutes to let the sauce to cool somewhat before serving.

See the Serving Suggestions section for further information.

    How to thicken fruit compote

    • To thicken your fruit compote and make it into fruit pie filling, just dissolve 1 tablespoon corn starch in 1.5 tablespoons cold water and whisk it into the compote while it’s cooking on the stovetop.
    • Alternatively, once the mixture has been cooked, it can be thickened.
    • Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for around 2 minutes, stirring often, until it has thickened.
    • It is possible that you may need to add extra sugar to this combination.
    • By including dried fruit into the recipe, you may get a thick fruit sauce that is rich in flavor.
    1. This approach was employed in my blackberry coffee cake recipe, which called for a layer of fruit on top.
    2. In a saucepan, I simmered fresh blackberries with finely chopped dried prunes and a pinch of sugar until the combination was thick and jam-like, appropriate for use in a cake recipe.

    What is kompot juice

    • The word ‘kompot’ in Polish means fruit liquid, and this delicacy is a type of East European equivalent of the French treat compote de fruits.
    • While growing up in Poland, kompot was always on the table at mealtimes throughout the summer months when fruit was inexpensive and readily accessible, as was the case this year.
    • When preparing kompot, whatever fruit that was available at the time was used; this includes strawberries, cherries, and rhubarb, among other things.
    • The fruit was boiled in a large amount of water and sugar.
    • Christmas compote was traditionally served, and it typically featured more spice than the more commonplace fresh fruit compote served.

    Serving suggestions

    • What I most admire about fruit compote is that it may be served as a breakfast dish, a snack, or a dessert.
    • Starting with breakfast, you may drizzle it over pancakes, waffles, hot porridge, or whisk it into overnight oats before eating them.
    • By blending it into yogurt and creating your own deliciously flavored yogurt, you may transform it into a nutritious snack.
    • You may also use it to make a yogurt parfait with fruit.
    • Pour over ice cream or serve with a dollop of whipped cream as a dessert, alongside custard (German style), or on its own as a snack.
    1. You may also make a coulis out of your fruit compote, which is a thin fruit sauce created from cooked and strained fruit that tastes delicious.
    2. Iced teas and other liquids can be flavored with this combination, which can be used to drizzle over desserts or to add to frozen delicacies (such as ice pops).
    3. I also used it to give my chocolate sauce a fruity touch, which you can find here.

    How to flavour fruit compote

Spices, herbs, and other things can be used to flavor your compote to make it more flavorful. Spices such as cinnamon or pumpkin spice, finely chopped basil or mint, grated ginger, and orange or lemon zest are all popular additions to baked goods. Simply include them into the fruit mixture while it is cooking.

    Top tips

    • Fresh or frozen fruit can be used. Cooking time for frozen fruit will be somewhat longer (about 2 minutes longer).
    • As the fruit compote cools, it will thicken
    • you may loosen it by adding a splash of water, orange or apple juice if you want.
    • The amount of sugar required will vary depending on the type of fruit you use as well as your own preferences. As a result, you may change the quantity to your taste.
    • After the compote has been simmered for a while, you may break up bigger bits of fruit using a potato masher.
    • Refrigerate for up to a week after storing in a jar of honey. Allow to cool fully before storing in the refrigerator.
    • The dish can be served warm or cold.
