1,600 calories, 98 grams of fat (56 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat), 790 milligrams of sodium, 178 grams of carbohydrates (7 grams of fiber, 133 grams of sugar), and 16 grams of protein ″A single slice has 1,600 calories and 133 grams of sugar, making it one of the most calorically and sugar-dense desserts available on the menu,″ explains registered dietitian Jenn Fillenworth, MS, RD.That’s all there is to it.1500 calories, 95 grams of fat (44 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat), 950 milligrams of sodium, 154 grams of carbohydrates (8 grams of fiber, 121 grams of sugar), and 23 grams of protein As Fillenworth points out, ″anytime you add sugar to an already sumptuous dish, the calories will reflect that,″ he adds. She claims that the 980 mg of salt in this cheesecake is one of the most shocking aspects of the dessert.
And, given that 2,300 milligrams of sodium is the recommended maximum daily consumption, she said that this cheesecake accounts for more than 40% of your daily sodium intake.1,370 calories, 85 grams of fat (51 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat), 710 milligrams of sodium, 141 grams of carbohydrates (2 grams of fiber, 120 grams of sugar), and 10 grams of protein ″While the calories in this Cinnabon cheesecake are significant, the sugar content, at 120 grams, is actually alarming,″ Fillenworth explains.Put another way, this is the equivalent of 10 tablespoons of sugar, or about 2/4 of a cup in just one slice, she explained. There are 1490 calories in this recipe, 109 grams of fat (72 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat), 330 milligrams of sodium, 111 grams of carbohydrates (3 grams of fiber, 111 grams of sugar), and 13 grams of protein.Licensed dietitian Lorraine Chu, MS RDN CDN says that with white chocolate, peppermint bark chocolate mousse and a peppermint candy garnish on top, it’s no surprise that this decadent dessert is extremely unhealthy.
- ″White chocolate, peppermint candy and white chocolate mousse are all combined in this decadent dessert,″ she adds.
- And at 1,500 calories, 109 grams of fat, and 111 grams of sugar per slice, she went on to say that this dessert is effectively a full day’s worth of calories, fat, and sugar—and then some.
- Yikes.
- 1,580 calories, 116 grams of fat (62 grams of saturated fat, 4 grams of trans fat), 630 milligrams of sodium, 125 grams of carbohydrates (1 gram of fiber, 104 grams of sugar), 14 grams of protein In fact, according to registered dietitian Shana Spence, MS, RDN, CDN, this is one of the desserts that includes the highest amount of trans fat grams (4 grams).
- High levels of saturated and trans fat are detrimental to one’s health and can lead to the development of cardiovascular disease, according to her.
- There are alternative sweets that are just as delicious and tempting as these, but contain far fewer of the ingredients you should avoid at all expenses.
1500 calories, 108 grams of fat (67 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat), 570 milligrams of sodium, 141 grams of carbohydrate (6 grams of fiber, 102 grams of sugar), and 14 grams of protein Because it has 1,550 calories and 970 calories from fat, Spence recommends skipping this dessert while dining at TCF.In addition, she says that 102 grams of sugar are equal to 25.5 teaspoons of sugar, which is a significant difference. It has more sugar than a single pint of Ben & Jerry’s Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream, according to her calculations.
1,360 calories, 88 g fat (51 g saturated fat, 2.5 g trans fat), 620 mg sodium, 139 g carbohydrates (7 g fiber, 113 g sugar), and 15 g protein per serving. The owner of New England Nutrition Advisors, registered dietitian Carly Johnston, MS, RDN, LDN, CPT, explains that while this option appears to be the perfect weekend treat, it is extremely rich in calories and sugar, making it something that should be avoided.1,310 calories, 85 g fat (51 g saturated fat, 2.5 g trans fat), 620 mg sodium, 139 g carbohydrates (7 g fiber, 113 g sugar), and 15 g protein per serving. However, despite the fact that this cheesecake appears to be a chocolate lover’s dream, Johnston claims that the high salt and sugar levels alone make it worth sharing with a few friends.1,240 calories, 73 grams of fat (43 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat), 750 milligrams of sodium, 130 grams of carbohydrates (2 grams of fiber, 107 grams of sugar), and 15 grams of protein However, according to Fillenworth, even though the salted caramel cheesecake is a delightful blend of sweet and salty flavors, it also has 107 grams of added sugar and 750 milligrams of salt per serving.
What is her recommendation?Share this one with your best friend if at all possible.1,330 calories, 89 grams of fat (53 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat), 500 milligrams of sodium, 126 grams of carbohydrates (6 grams of fiber, 105 grams of sugar), and 16 grams of protein According to Chu, ″the fat and sugar level in this cheesecake is quite high, with each piece containing 1,330 calories.″ In addition, with 500 milligrams of sodium, she emphasized that this slice accounted for more than 20% of your daily recommended sodium consumption. It has 1 370 calories and contains 96 grams of fat (50 grams saturated fat and 2.5 grams transfat), 340 milligrams sodium, 116 carbohydrates (6 grams of fiber and 96 grams of sugar), and 19 grams protein. The Cheesecake Factory takes things up a level with this cheesecake that is swirled with Snickers and served on a brownie crust with chocolate, caramel, and peanuts, among other ingredients.
One slice contains the same amount of sugar as four Snickers bars in their original form…1,260 calories, 83 grams of fat (47 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat), 510 milligrams of sodium, 109 grams of carbohydrates (1 gram of fiber, 99 grams of sugar), and 10 grams of protein As sugary as it sounds, pineapple cheesecake sandwiched between two layers of buttery pineapple upside-down cake is actually rather delicious.A slice of bread has roughly 100 grams of sugar.1,380 calories, 98 g fat (58 g saturated fat), 740 mg sodium, 114 g carbohydrates (1 g fiber, 87 g sugar), and 15 g protein in this recipe. As Fillenworth puts it, ″I have a sense if you’re getting this cheesecake, it’s for a fun purpose.″ Fillenworth says.As a result, she indicated that the 1,380 calories shouldn’t be a major concern, but that the 98 grams of fat are difficult to overlook.
She went on to say that this is the equivalent of four huge fast-food French fries.1,250 calories, 90 grams of fat (55 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat), 400 milligrams of sodium, 109 grams of carbohydrates (5 grams of fiber, 87 grams of sugar), and 11 grams of protein Although this scrumptious dessert has delectable fudge cake, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate and vanilla mascarpone mousse, Johnson believes its high carb and sugar content makes it difficult to overlook when trying to lose weight.1,220 calories, 94 grams of fat (58 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat), 480 milligrams of sodium, 85 grams of carbohydrates (4 grams of fiber, 69 grams of sugar), and 13 grams of protein Despite the fact that there are certainly worse options on the cheesecake menu, Johnston recommends that you avoid this chocolaty treat since it is heavy in fat, sugar, and salt, among other things.1,400 calories, 105 grams of fat (66 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat), 260 milligrams of sodium, 110 grams of carbohydrates (8 grams of fiber, 96 grams of sugar), and 15 grams of protein ″For some folks, 1,400 calories might be equivalent to a whole day’s worth of calories,″ Spence notes. She went on to say that the 950 calories from fat are much in excess of the recommended daily amount, and that the 96 grams of sugar (or 24 teaspoons) on this slice does nothing to assist its cause.1,390 calories, 110 g of fat (61 g saturated fat, 3 g trans fat), 600 mg of sodium, 107 g carbohydrates (2 g fiber, 83 g sugar), 14 g protein (per serving).
To make a cheesecake with caramel (which is wonderful but made of sugar, butter, and cream), you must first mix the caramel into the cheesecake (which is made of even more sugar, butter, and cream), as Spence explains. In terms of calories, she noted, this is a good pick. However, when it comes to fat calories (920!), she believes this is one of the worst options on the menu.1,110 calories, 70 g fat (42 g saturated fat, 2 g trans fat), 640 mg sodium, 110 g carbohydrates (2 g fiber, 84 g sugar), 12 g protein, 640 mg sodium An entire slice of delicious cheesecake is piled high with Caramel Apples and topped with even more caramel, all within a graham crust.
1,390 calories, 97 grams of fat (52 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat), 510 milligrams of sodium, 118 grams of carbohydrates (3 grams of fiber, 92 grams of sugar), and 15 grams of protein ″This taste is in the center of the pack when it comes to nutritional content,″ Fillenworth said of the flavor.Because of the hazelnuts, the fat level is higher than in other flavors, she explained, but the sugar content is far lower than in varieties that include candies and cookies as an ingredient.1,270 calories, 90 grams of fat (46 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat), 450 milligrams of sodium, 105 grams of carbohydrates (4 grams of fiber, 74 grams of sugar), and 14 grams of protein ″With the addition of a sweet pecan pie layer, this choice takes the pumpkin cheesecake to the next level,″ Chu adds. And while she acknowledged that this dish was tasty, she also pointed out that it resulted in an increase in calories, fat, and sugar.1,040 calories, 79 grams of fat (49 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat), 500 milligrams of sodium, 76 grams of carbohydrates (2 grams of fiber, 60 grams of sugar), and ten grams of protein Although the addition of pumpkin to this cheesecake may not seem like much, Chu points out that because the pumpkin is likely to be highly sweetened, you’ll likely see a significant rise in calories, fat, and sugar.1,160 calories, 86 g fat (53 g saturated fat, 3 g trans fat), 430 mg sodium, 92 g carbohydrate (1 g fiber, 74 g sugar), 13 g protein, 430 mg sodium If you can’t get enough of the flavor of key lime, Johnston thinks this cheesecake will more than fulfill your need for the fruit.
Furthermore, despite the fact that it is heavy in calories and sugar, it includes a minimal quantity of salt.RELATED: The long-awaited guide to reducing your sugar intake is finally out.1,170 calories, 88 g fat (57 g saturated fat, 2.5 g trans fat), 480 mg sodium, 84 g carbohydrate (1 g fiber, 68 g sugar), 11 g protein, 480 mg sodium However, despite the fact that this selection has a significant quantity of carbohydrates and fat, Johnston believes it is not a particularly bad choice because it contains a moderate level of sugar when compared to other cheesecakes in the category.1,000 calories, 73 grams of fat (42 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat), 400 milligrams of sodium, 90 grams of carbohydrates (including 2 grams of fiber but only 74 grams of sugar), and 10 grams of protein Despite the fact that it has a lovely lemony raspberry flavor and is served with a sweet syrup sauce, Johnston believes that this cheesecake choice is still worth choosing since it includes a lesser quantity of trans fats when compared to the other types.960 calories, 68 grams of fat (41 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat), 440 milligrams of sodium, 76 grams of carbohydrates (1 gram of fiber, 61 grams of sugar), and 11 grams of protein As Johnston points out, ″this cheesecake choice contains marginally fewer calories than its equivalents.″ She went on to say that it also means a decreased intake of saturated and trans fat.
120 calories, 89 grams of fat (57 grams saturated fat, 3 grams trans fat), 500 milligrams sodium, 92 grams of carbohydrates (one gram of fiber, 78 grams sugar), and 13 grams of protein In Spence’s opinion, ″many people believe that white chocolate is healthier than dark chocolate, but this is just not true.″ She added that white chocolate is actually not chocolate at all, but rather cocoa butter, and as a result, you aren’t receiving any of the antioxidants that chocolate (particularly dark chocolate) has. However, she pointed out that this is also one of the healthier options when it comes to calorie and sugar intake.78 grams of sugar are contained in one slice of choice, making it one of the least sugar-dense slices available on the menu. For the sake of comparison, it is about 19.5 teaspoons.
- A serving has 1,170 calories, 73 grams of fat (48 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat), 500 milligrams of sodium, 117 grams of carbohydrate (one grain of fiber, ninety grams of sugar), and 13 grams of protein.
- According to Spence, ″This is one of the more mild possibilities, so I would advocate leaning toward it (but still sharing!).″ Although she made it obvious that this order is still heavy in calories and represents somewhat more than half of your daily calorie allowance, she did not mince her words (if you are going off a 2,000 calorie diet).
- In addition, she recommends being cautious of the fat calories, which are just 40 fat calories fewer than the total number of fat calories you should consume for the day.
- 1,250 calories, 82 g fat (43 g saturated fat, 2 g trans fat), 750 mg sodium, 118 g carbohydrates (5 g fiber, 94 g sugar), and 18 g protein in a 1-pound serving ″When compared to the rest of the menu, this option is in the center of the pack,″ Spence says of the selection.
- According to her, 1,280 calories equals 64 percent of your daily calorie needs (based on a 2,000-calorie diet), and 740 fat calories equals more than a day’s worth of calories.
1,280 calories, 83 grams of fat (55 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat), 510 milligrams of sodium, 128 grams of carbohydrates (1 gram of fiber, 98 grams of sugar), and 13 grams of protein According to Spence, this is one among the lower-calorie and lower-fat desserts on the menu, making it a healthier option to purchase when dining at this establishment.1,250 calories, 90 grams of fat (56 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat), 510 milligrams of sodium, 99 grams of carbohydrates (3 grams of fiber, 79 grams of sugar), and 14 grams of protein The belief that a dessert is healthful simply because it contains fruit, according to Spence, might be another example.Unfortunately, this is not the case, as she stated, because the fruit used in these sweets is frequently the corn syrup-based variety rather than genuine fruit. She did, however, point out that this cheesecake would be a healthier choice than many others in terms of calories and sugar.
1,150 calories, 84 grams of fat (52 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat), 280 milligrams of sodium, 96 grams of carbohydrates (4 grams of fiber, 81 grams of sugar), and 11 grams of protein Even though this cheesecake will tantalize your taste buds with sweet cherries and savory chocolate, Fillenworth warns that as the calories increase with each new flavor, the amount of sugar in the final product will increase.″With 81 grams of added sugar, which is the same amount as two 12-ounce cans of cola,″ she explains, ″this cherry chocolate mix provides the sweetness.″ 1,000 calories, 69 grams of fat (43 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat), 82 grams of carbohydrates (2 grams of fiber, 66 grams of sugar), and 12 grams of protein ″If you’re looking to take your cheesecake flavor a step further than the original, fresh strawberry is a fantastic choice,″ Fillenworth says. However, she pointed out that this is also the point at which our cheesecake calories soar to 1,000 calories, making it a good idea to share this with a buddy at this point.800 calories, 59 grams of fat (37 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat), 510 milligrams of sodium, 63 grams of carbohydrate (including 1 gram of fiber and 51 grams of sugar), 12 grams of protein Fillenworth explains that, while the original cheesecake may not be the most thrilling flavor, it is ″cheesecake in its purest form.″ This also implies that it does not include any more sugar from additional sweets, syrups, or caramels, as you would find in other varieties.Consequently, when it comes to the calorie count, the classic version is a good option to consider.
- 580 calories, 44 grams of fat (26 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat), 460 milligrams of sodium, 39 grams of carbohydrates (8 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar), and 10 grams of protein The low-carb option is the greatest choice, according to Chu, because it has less calories and does not have four-digit calories per slice, as do the other selections on the menu.
- She described it as ″very easy,″ noting that it does not include any crazy toppings or sweet sauces such as fudge or caramel, which may add a significant amount of calories and sugar.
- 570 calories, 44 grams of fat (26 grams of saturated fat, 9 grams of trans fat), 460 milligrams of sodium, 37 grams of carbohydrates (7 grams of fiber, 5 grams of sugar), and ten grams of protein ‘This option has the lowest calorie count and the least quantity of sugar,’ according to Johnston.
- She recommended that diabetics choose for this dessert option because it is the most suitable.

Classic Cheesecake Factory Cheesecakes, Ranked
The Cheesecake Factory, out of all the big chain restaurants, may be the most difficult to categorize as a certain cuisine. After all, the restaurant’s extensive menu is renowned for including everything from fish tacos to chicken teriyaki. However, according to the chain’s name, at least one of the dessert selections is well-known: the aforementioned cheesecake. The difficulty is that The Cheesecake Factory presently offers a vast variety of flavors to pick from, which might be overwhelming.
- I drove into (and out of) a Los Angeles store of America’s favorite fast-food restaurant and got a slice of each of their most popular varieties.
- I was impressed.
- Here’s how they matched up against one another.
27. Low-Liscious Cheesecake
Basically, it’s a creamy cheesecake with a graham-walnut crust that has been sweetened with Splenda. The verdict: Let’s face it, no one should be surprised by this.Carbohydrates are delicious and make people happy. Why would you want to remove them?
- You’ve already placed an order for cheesecake.
- The window of opportunity for making healthy dietary selections has closed.
- You may be familiar with the sweetener Splenda from such songs as ″The Awful Diet Cola Aftertaste″ and ″Goddammit I Bought the Sugar Free Popsicles Again.″ This song is flavored with Splenda.
26. Low-Liscious Cheesecake With Strawberries
What it is: A low-carb cheesecake with strawberries and whipped cream, sweetened with Splenda, and topped with whipped cream. The verdict: It’s somewhat better, but that’s primarily due to the addition of strawberries and a more conventional crust.Otherwise, it has a taste that is quite similar to the original Low Carb Cheesecake, which is sweetened with Splenda. The strangest thing about this one is: The strawberries are served cut up in a little cup next to the cheesecake, which is a nice addition.
- What’s the deal with that?
- Do you have a portion control system?
- Once again, you’ve made the decision to go for the cheesecake dragon.
Accept it as a fact of life.
25. Caramel Pecan Turtle Cheesecake
What it is: A cheesecake made with pecan brownies and caramel swirls, topped with caramel turtle pecans and chocolate shavings. The verdict: I am not what you may call a ″pecan person,″ as some might describe me.Rather than liking pecans, I consider all other varieties of nuts to be superior to pecans. As a result, turtle isn’t actually my favorite flavor.
- Those annoying nuts really detract from the flavor of the cheesecake, which is otherwise quite good.
24. Fresh Banana Cream Cheesecake
Exactly what it is: a banana cream cheesecake with a layer of Bavarian cream and sliced bananas on top.Regardless of how you feel about bananas (″Something to chew on,″ to put it another way), most banana eaters can agree that when they’re overly mushy, it’s a disgusting experience. That’s how I feel about this entire cheesecake thing.Extra gooey and mushy.
- The texture is similar to what you’d get if someone mixed a purée of bananas and baby food and arranged it in cheesecake form.
- Those who enjoy banana cream pie, as well as those who are infants without teeth, will enjoy this recipe.
- I don’t and I’m not going to.
At the very least, this is no longer the case.
23. Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake
Basically, it’s a flourless Godiva chocolate cake that’s been stacked with Godiva chocolate cheesecake and chocolate mousse. The verdict: There are a few of elements working against the GCC in this situation. For starters, there is chocolate cake mixed with the cheesecake, and it isn’t coming out right.Second, the chocolate cake in question is made without the use of wheat.
- Cakes made without flour are just cakes that have forgotten something.
- The other issue with this is that it is simply too dense.
- The ultimate in decadence.
Maybe if there was something like a strawberry or a raspberry to help cut through the richness, it might be a little less overwhelming.Unfortunately, this is not the case.
22. Hershey’s Chocolate Bar Cheesecake
What it is: A layer of Hershey’s cheesecake sandwiched between two layers of chocolate cake topped with chocolate icing and chocolate chips. A similar flavor to Godiva, but a little less decadent in its indulgence. And once more with the authentic cake-cheesecake combination! An enormous chocolate punch to the face is about to be delivered.
21. Celebration Cheesecake
What it is is as follows: Vanilla cake is stacked with cheesecake, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla mousse, and cream cheese icing before being iced with cream cheese frosting. The verdict is in: The beast that is the Celebration has been defeated.Cheesecake appears to be their version of a birthday cake, but it feels more like they’re honoring themselves as a place that doesn’t care what a cheesecake is meant to be.With all of the bright, birthday-themed colors, it almost has a Funfetti vibe to it, which I love.
- However, the actual problem is that you are deceived into believing you are about to take a mouthful of an ice cream cake, but there is no ice cream in it at all.
- It’s just a really large slice of cheesecake.
20. Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake
Basically, it’s Oreo cookies cooked into a creamy cheesecake with layers of chocolate fudge cake, Oreo cookie mousse, and a layer of milk chocolate frosting on top.If you’re like most people, you’re probably screaming at your computer, ″20 for OREO?″ Let’s not start yelling and instead have a calm debate.Oreos are one of my favorite cookies. They are without a doubt the greatest cookie.
- Unfortunately, the actual strength of the Oreo does not come through here because the emphasis is only on the cookie portion.
- There is a major deficiency in the cream filling, which is a shame.
- Weird Al created a whole song about it, which you can listen to here.
I can tell that the cream cheesecake itself is making an attempt to fill that void, but it simply isn’t enough to compensate. This is more of a regular cheesecake with a small amount of Oreo cookie crumble thrown in for good measure.
19. Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake
What it is: a chocolate cheesecake with a layer of Belgian chocolate mousse on top, served chilled. The verdict: This man right here is a master of balancing intense chocolate with a richness that isn’t overbearing in flavor. It’s silky and smooth, with a mousse-like texture, and it’s classic. This recipe is a go-to for anybody who like chocolate but recognizes the need of moderation, in the sense that chocolate mousse cheesecake may be regarded an example of moderation.
18. Chocolate Tuxedo Cream Cheesecake
What it is: A chocolate fudge cake with layers of chocolate cheesecake, vanilla mascarpone mousse, and chocolate ganache on top.The final verdict: Contrary to my prior views, the layer of real cake in this one works a bit better. It’s considerably easier to keep the cake-to-cheesecake ratio under control here. This is a sumptuous treat that is in the middle of the road for someone who gets a little too enthusiastic about Black and White cookies.
17. 30th Anniversary Chocolate Cake Cheesecake
What it is: An original cheesecake layered with fudge cake and chocolate truffle cream, with a chocolate truffle topping. After tasting it, I’ve decided that there isn’t enough cheesecake in this to really call it a cheesecake. However, this strangely counterbalances my entire ″too much cake″ argument and turns it on its head. It’s almost as if the cheesecake has been added as an afterthought, and it somehow works better as a result of this.
- In addition, the truffle cream is exquisite.
16. Vanilla Bean Cheesecake
What it is: A vanilla bean cheesecake with vanilla mousse and whipped cream on top, covered with whipped cream. Finally, the verdict: This was another another cheesecake that well above my hopes.I’m not a huge fan of vanilla, and I’ll nearly always go for a stronger taste in favor of something more subtle. However, this guy is light and airy, and the vanilla beans themselves are able to show through beautifully in every mouthful of this guy.
- Simplicity may be a thing of beauty.
15. Dulce de Leche Caramel Cheesecake
What it is: Caramel cheesecake with caramel mousse and almond brickle on a vanilla crustThe verdict: The Cheesecake Factory had the foresight to not put a load of cake in the center of this thing and spoil it, which is commendable. The only thing that comes close to butterscotch in my opinion is this flavor of ice cream. A special mention should be made of the vanilla crust.
14. Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake
Basically, chunks of peanut butter cups are baked into the Original Cheesecake, which is sandwiched between layers of fudge cake and caramel sauce. After weighing the options, I believe the final score may have been even higher, but I do not believe an additional cake layer was essential in this case. However, it is dangerously close to being a powerhouse. And where have all the Butterfingers gone that were used in Adam’s Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple Cheesecake (see below) disappeared to?
- My and Bart Simpson’s brains would have been blown if we’d seen it.
- Having a Butterfinger at a Reese’s party is completely acceptable and even encouraged!
13. Toasted Marshmallow S’mores Galore
Exactly what it is: Honey Maid graham crackers on top of Hershey’s cheesecake, with chocolate ganache and torched house-made marshmallow on top of the cheesecake. The final verdict: As previously said, the Hershey’s cheesecake is definitely too chocolaty in flavor. While it is possible to counteract all of the chocolate by using an assortment of nostalgic, chocolate-cutting accessories (particularly sticky-toasted marshmallow and graham crackers), this is not recommended. With the simple addition of a campfire and any of the cast members from Wet Hot American Summer, this might have reached even greater heights.
12. Key Lime Cheesecake
This cheesecake is based on a key lime pie cheesecake recipe with a vanilla crumb crust. The verdict: Call me Margo Martindale from Season 3 of Dexter, because I like key lime pie.I genuinely believe it.If you have to make a key lime pie into cheesecake, this is definitely the easiest method to go about it because it is so simple.
- It retains all of the sharpness and acidity of a lime while shining brightly through the creamy cheesecake filling.
- Despite the fact that I was in the midst of tasting 34 various sorts of cheesecake, it was quite difficult for me to refrain from devouring this entire piece of cake.
11. Salted Caramel Cheesecake
Basically, it’s a caramel cheesecake and caramel mousse sandwiched between two layers of blonde brownie and topped with salted caramel. The verdict is in: Take a look.I’m a simple person.Despite the fact that it’s been abused, the salted caramel flavor hasn’t become old to me at all.
- It’s really an all-around excellent combination.
- This time around, we’re dealing with the same decadent blonde brownie crust that we loved the first time.
- A successful salted-caramel dish, I believe, has a salty finish that brings out the sweetness of the caramel to its fullest extent.
10. Tiramisu Cheesecake
Everything about this dessert is fantastic. What it is: Layers of tiramisu and cheesecakeThe verdict: This was an excellent concept from the beginning. Tiramisu is a ball of fire. Cheesecake is a raging success. Combine the ingredients and, voila, Tiramisu Cheesecake is on fire.
9. Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake
Layers of red velvet cake and the Original Cheesecake with cream cheese icing are the base of this dessert. The verdict: I’m a sucker for red velvet cake.It makes me feel sick to my stomach that I enjoy something so fashionable, but red velvet cake has more than lived up to the hype. This is by far the greatest example of a standard cake functioning in conjunction with a cheesecake to create a delicious dessert.
- Let’s face it: we’re talking about red velvet cake, after all.
8. Chocolate Caramelicious Cheesecake Made with Snickers
Exactly what it is: a creamy cheesecake covered with Snickers bars, chocolate fudge, and caramel The verdict: If you place Snickers on top of a cheesecake, you’re guaranteed to have a delicious dessert. There’s nothing to get too worked up over with this one. And if you disagree, you might want to go get a Snickers bar since you’re not your normal self when you’re starving.
7. Lemon Raspberry Cream Cheesecake
Raspberry vanilla cake, creamy lemon cheesecake, raspberry ladyfingers, and lemon mousse are the main ingredients in this dessert. The verdict: This was never going to be anything I didn’t enjoy.Raspberry is one of my favorite fruits.Lemon is one of my favorite flavors.
- The lighter, more tangy cheesecakes did a number on me, and I was not prepared for it.
- Although the jam spilling from the top appears to be disgusting in photographs, it tasted quite fine in my dark, cavernous heart.
6. White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle
What it is: A rich, creamy cheesecake with swirls of white chocolate and raspberry filling. Finally, the verdict: Even though I don’t care for white chocolate, I can’t get enough of this one. Because of the raspberries, it’s sharp and lively, but it’s also sweet and indulgent because of the white chocolate. The ideal proportions of each element were used.
5. Lemon Meringue Cheesecake
What it is is as follows: Lemon cream cheesecake with layers of lemon mousse and meringue on top is a classic dessert. The verdict: Do you like the taste of lemon bars?Wouldn’t it be great if you didn’t feel like you weighed 2 billion pounds after having dessert?Do you enjoy reading three questions in a sequence, as if you were watching an infomercial?
- This Lemon Meringue Cheesecake is the perfect dessert for you!
4. Original Cheesecake
What it is: A rich and creamy cheesecake with a graham cracker crust and a sour cream icing. Conclusion: Before tasting this cheesecake, I had decided that I didn’t particularly enjoy basic cheesecake. My initial reaction to the Original was a complete 180-degree turn. The sour cream topping was a particular favorite of mine.
- It wasn’t very heavy or overly rich.
- There is absolutely nothing I can do to change things.
- A+ cheesecake, to be precise.
3. Mango Key Lime Cheesecake
What it is is as follows: On a vanilla macaroon coconut crust, a key lime cheesecake is topped with mango mousse and served. The verdict is in: radiance!Tartness!Acidity!
- All of the things I’m always mentioning are true!
- I’m not a big fan of coconut, but this recipe is so delicious that I don’t even care.
- The combination of the silky smooth filling and the mango mousse produces a delightfully delicious outcome.
When you complete each bite, you get a sour finish on your tongue, which makes you want to take another one immediately.
2. Adam’s Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple Cheesecake
Basically, it’s a creamy cheesecake that has been swirled with caramel, peanut butter, Butterfingers, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.Adam seemed to have done everything correctly when the other peanut butter cup cheesecake appeared to have gone horribly wrong. The Butterfinger portions are really essential. The peanut butter ganache on top is just delicious.
- It’s all cheesecake loaded with Reese’s Cups, with nary an ounce of dull fudge cake in sight to detract from the overall presentation.
- If any of you out there happen to be Adam, please come forward and identify yourselves.
- I’d like to give you a big embrace right now.
1. Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake
What it is is as follows: The Original, with glazed strawberries on top of it (no sour cream topping) The final verdict: It’s a timeless masterpiece. The Original has already perfected the art of flawless simplicity, and it has never been proven that adding strawberries was detrimental. The freshness of the strawberries adds a distinct dimension to the dish.Another factor that helped propel this bad boy to the top of the rankings was the fact that, in the end, many of these flavors and styles are extremely similar.
- There was a lot of dark chocolate.
- Richness in abundance, with a silky smooth texture.
- However, this Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake stands out amid the other super-heavy chocolate cheesecakes that are available on the menu.
It’s light and fluffy, and, to be honest, it’s just great.Do you want to read more Thrillist?Follow us on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and Snapchat..Wilder Shaw was forced to be evacuated from The Cheesecake Factory as a result of this, and he is now a ghost.

Baileys Cheesecake (Irish Cream Cheesecake)
Irish cream-spiked cheesecake filling and ganache layers are sandwiched between a scrumptious chocolate cookie crust to create the Baileys Cheesecake. When I was in college, I worked as the manager of a small Mediterranean restaurant close to campus. It served as a gathering spot for residents of the surrounding area to grab a quick bite to eat and a hangout for college students to pretend to study while drinking cappuccinos. Moreover, because I worked a lot and had access to free food as a bonus of the job, I pretty much subsisted on hummus and pita bread for the better part of four years.
- There was an older couple that came in on a weekly basis and were quite pleasant.
- Everyone looked forward to their weekly Tawook supper, which included additional steamed vegetables.
- He would complete his dinner with a slice of cheesecake, while his wife would have a Baileys and a cup of coffee with only a dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce (similar to an Irish coffee cocktail).
Some of the things I recall from more than 15 years ago are rather amusing.Do you happen to know any of my undergrad instructors’ names? No way in hell. But what about a supper that a couple orders every week?
Yes, all the way down to the additional vegetables. Now, I’ve never been a big drinker, but I’ve developed a strong preference for Baileys and coffee, served with a smidgeon of whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce on top. It’s simply one of those cocktails that brings back memories of my twenties and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside for a variety of reasons.I bought up a bottle of Baileys Irish Cream a couple of weeks ago with the intention of making Simple Homemade Truffles…and possibly whipping up a Baileys and coffee or two. Finally, on a whim one evening, I decided to experiment with a Baileys Cheesecake recipe.
WHAT IS BAILEYS CHEESECAKE?
Compared to my vanilla cheesecake recipe, Baileys Cheesecake isn’t all that different.Although I use an Oreo cookie crust for a great chocolaty foundation instead of a graham cracker crust, it is still delicious. In addition, I substituted Baileys Irish Cream for the cream in the filling and covered the entire thing with a Baileys-spiked chocolate ganache to finish it off.A rich, creamy cheesecake with just the perfect amount of chocolate and Baileys flavor is the outcome.
- As much as I’d like to believe that this would have been the right cheesecake to finally entice the woman of that wonderful marriage to join her husband in a piece of cheesecake, I’m not sure.
- But, on the other hand, I happen to believe that life isn’t worth living if you don’t have cheesecake.
- Are you on the same page as me?
TIPS FOR MAKING THIS IRISH CREAM CHEESECAKE
- There are three key components to this Baileys Irish cream cheesecake: the base, the filling, and the topping. Crust made of crushed Oreo cookies
- filling made with Baileys
- topping made with Baileys and chocolate ganache
I’ve prepared a lot of cheesecake recipes over the years, and I’ve picked up a few tricks that I’ve learned along the road that you might find useful while making this recipe. They are as follows:
- Make use of cream cheese and eggs that are at room temperature. We have some good news for you if you fail to put these ingredients out ahead of time. It is possible to soften cream cheese by following my instructions, and to bring butter and eggs to room temperature by following my instructions.
- In a water bath, bake the cheesecake until it is set. Be confident in this phase
- it’s less difficult than you would imagine and will assist to ensure that your cheesecake is completely flawless in every way! See my post on how to bake cheesecake in a water bath for more information.
- Make sure you give yourself plenty of time. The cheesecake takes around an hour to bake, a couple of hours to cool, and eight hours to chill in the refrigerator, despite the fact that it doesn’t take much time to get it in the oven. Don’t be tempted to cut corners in this situation.
Is it possible to substitute a store-bought crust with the homemade version? Yes. Is it possible to omit the chocolate ganache on top? Sure. Would the final cheesecake taste as nice as the sample? Well, I know what my point of view is, but I’ll let you make up your own mind about it.
CAN BAILEYS CHEESECAKE BE FROZEN?
When it comes to freezing desserts, this Baileys Cheesecake is the best choice!Because cheesecake is a time-consuming dessert to prepare, it is sometimes preferable to prepare it ahead of time and freeze it.When freezing this cheesecake, I recommend leaving it without the ganache on top and adding the ganache just before serving.Once the cheesecake has been allowed to cool completely in the refrigerator, set it on a round of cardboard and wrap it in plastic wrap before wrapping it in aluminum foil.
- If you have a large zip-top freezer bag, you could even keep it inside of that to provide an additional layer of protection from the elements.
- Ideally, at least two layers of protection should be placed around the cheesecake to prevent it from developing freezer burn.
- Allow at least two hours for the Baileys Cheesecake to defrost in the refrigerator or at room temperature before topping with the ganache and cutting into slices to serve.
Together, let us celebrate beautiful couples who have been married for decades by baking this Baileys Irish Cream Cheesecake and observing their weekly customs with the utmost care. What a wonderful way to live, don’t you think?
Ingredients
For the Crust:
- 24 Oreo cookies, broken into crumbs
- 24 entire Oreo cookies
- Unsalted butter, melted (about 5 tablespoons)
For the Cheesecake:
- The following ingredients: 32 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4 big eggs at room temperature
- 1/3 cup Baileys Irish Cream
For the Ganache:
- 5 cups heavy cream, 3 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream, and 6 ounces high-quality semi-sweet chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Wrap a 9-inch springform pan tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil. When utilizing a water bath, this step helps to avoid leaks. I also go the additional mile by baking the spring form pan in an oven bag that has been covered in aluminum foil, but this is entirely optional.
- Combine all of the crust ingredients and press them into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Bake for 8 minutes in a preheated oven and allow to cool fully on a wire rack
- Start by bringing a saucepan or kettle of water to a boil for the water bath.
- Using the paddle attachment on your stand mixer, smooth down the cream cheese until it is completely uniform in texture. Mix in the sugar until it is well incorporated. Add the eggs one at a time, making sure to completely incorporate each before adding the next to the mixture. Between each egg, make sure to scrape the bottom of the dish clean. Mix in the Baileys Irish Cream until it is completely smooth.
- Pour the batter into the crust that has been made. Stack the pan on top of a bigger pan and fill the larger pan partly with boiling water until the cheesecake pan is halfway up the side of the larger pan
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 55-60 minutes, until the rims look to be set but the middle still has some jiggle. When you reach this point, turn off the oven but leave the door open and let the cheesecake to cool for one hour in the cooling oven.
- Following the one-hour mark, gently take the cheesecake from the water bath and transfer it to a cooling rack to finish cooling. After the cake has been allowed to cool fully, store it in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.
- Prepare the ganache the night before you plan to serve it.
For the Ganache
- To make the heavy cream, heat it in a small saucepan over medium heat until it is very hot but not boiling
- In a heat-safe dish, combine the chocolate chips
- Immediately pour the hot cream on top of the chocolate and set aside for approximately 5 minutes.
- Whisk the cream and chocolate together until they are creamy and completely blended.
- Continue to stir in the Baileys Irish Cream until it is well combined, then set the ganache aside for 5 minutes.
- Before cutting, pour the ganache over the cold cheesecake and distribute it evenly across the surface, or spoon it over each individual piece.
Notes
When the cheesecake is chilled, the ganache will become more hard.

For those of you who have never attempted to make a homemade cheesecake, you are in for a treat. In terms of flavor and texture, we prefer this handmade imitation of the Cheesecake Factory cheesecake even more than the original. Top a slice of cake with homemade Cherry Sauce or even Strawberry Sauce, and you’ve got yourself a winning combo!
About Cheesecake:
Cheesecakes are simply creamy cheese and egg custards that are cooked on top of a graham cracker crust and served warm. It’s not strictly a ‘cake,’ but it’s close.Cheesecake has an irresistibly creamy and delicious texture, and all you need are a few simple ingredients to make it: cream cheese, eggs, sugar, a small amount of sour cream, and vanilla extract.Even more straightforward is the 3-ingredient crust.
- Homemade cheesecakes are surprisingly simple to create and need just a little amount of hands-on work.
- The majority of the labor is done by your mixer, and the most difficult aspect of the procedure is waiting for it to bake, cool, and chill overnight.
- Another advantage of cheesecakes is that they may be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer for up to two months.
What Does a Water Bath do for a Cheesecake?
- We were looking for a cheesecake recipe that would entirely avoid cracks, shrinkage, overbaking, and browning, and we found one that did just that. We made a little modification to our original (no-water-bath) Cheesecake recipe, so if you liked that one, you’ll really adore this one as well. The following are the reasons why a water bath is so effective: The cake cooks at the same pace in the middle and along the edges.
- The top of the cake is protected by steam moisture.
- With low shrinking and no cracking, you may expect a gentle, steady rising.
- Everything about this cake is ultra-creamy, right down to the borders.
- Less likely to overbake since it is more tolerant
Our Favorite Cheesecake Crust:
With only three ingredients (graham crackers, sugar, and butter), making a cheesecake crust is a piece of cake. You may either pulse the crumbs in a food processor or blender until fine crumbs form, or place them in a firm Ziploc bag and roll them with a rolling pin until they create fine crumbs. They are also available in the form of crumbs to save time.
- Then combine the crumbs with the melted butter and sugar, stirring until moistened
- Press the crumbs into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, pushing them up the edges slightly.
- Bake for 8 minutes in the center of the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, then remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature.
Tips for Making the Best Cheesecake:
- The best advice we can provide is to take your time with the baking and chilling of the cake. Making the ideal cheesecake necessitates the completion of each phase. Before you begin making your cheesecake, take a moment to go over this advise and watch the video guide. In order to avoid having
